Meghan BrennanMeghan Brennan, Ph.D., R.N., M.S.N., O.N.P., is an oncology nursing practitioner, whose professional career has spanned clinical, industry and academic based research and practice. Her area of expertise has been focused on solid tumors in adults, namely breast cancer. Brennan earned her B.S. in Nursing at Georgetown University, and completed her M.S.N. in Oncology at UCLA. She earned her Ph.D. in Nursing Science at UCLA, with a focus on patient participation in early phase oncology clinical trials.

Prior to her becoming the Director of Research at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2010, she held varied roles within the field of oncology. Throughout her professional career, Brennan has focused on developing and defining operational processes in the management of clinical trials, and she has provided her expertise in study development, management and data analysis. In her current position as Director of the JCCC Clinical Research Unit, she has developed and initiated standard processes and procedures, and has developed training programs for clinical research faculty and staff.

Brennan is currently a member of the National Oncology Nursing Society, Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
